Meal Type Appetizer
- 1 clove Garlic
- 1 can (15 oz) Garbanzo Beans (drained and rinsed)
- 1 can (6 oz) Black Olives (drained and liquid reserved)
- 1/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Place garlic in food processor and pulse until garlic is minced. Add garbanzo beans and puree until the beans have broken down into a paste. Pour in liquid from olives, 1 Tbsp. at a time; puree until fully incorporated, about 2-3 Tbsp. liquid in total.
Keep food processor running and slowing drizzle olive oil into hummus until smooth and desired consistency is reached. Add olives to hummus and pulse 3 to 7 times until olives are chopped and evenly distributed.
