Dark Chocolate Fudgy Brownies with Chocolate Olive Oil

  • 1 cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 3/4 cups dark chocolate cocoa powder (high quality)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup dark chocolate (finely chopped (or semi-sweet chocolate chips))
  • 1 cup pecans (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Olive Oil
  • 3 Large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons water


Step 1
Blend together flour, sugar, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and salt

Step 2
Add dark chocolate (or chocolate chips) and pecans to dry ingredients

Step 3
Add Chocolate Olive Oil, eggs, and water to dry mixture and mix until smooth

Step 4
Pour batter into 8x8 lightly greased pan and bake at 350°F for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached. Remove to a rack and cool.


For a special treat, serve these brownies with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream topped with our Salted Bourbon Goat's Milk Caramel or Spicy Dark Chocolate Goat's Milk Caramel.
