This is the oil that we at A Taste of Olive eagerly await each year, and this year's freshly pressed EVOO from the Gradassi family is as outstanding as we have come to appreciate. Arriving in early December, this unfiltered DOP extra virgin was one of the first off the presses of the 2017-18 harvest season in Italy. It has the beautiful color of ground emeralds, rich creamy texture, and grassy aroma Gradassi is known for, as well as a spicy finish that defines "robust" in an extra virgin olive oil. The Gradassi family has cultivated olives on the rocky land surrounding the medieval hilltop town of Campello sul Clitunno since the 1600s. This year is another gem.
