Black currants, native to Northern Europe, are extremely rich in vitamin C and several rare nutrients. Their sweet and sharply astringent flavor adds a wonderful dimension to vinaigrettes, a marinade or glaze for lamb, duck, and poultry. A wonderful complement to feta cheese, red onions and orange wedges in salads. Drizzle over pears and ice cream, or pair with Tarragon Olive Oil for a vibrant vinaigrette.
