Our Favorite Summer Meals Under 20 Minutes

This year, we are especially grateful for gatherings with friends, family reunions, road trips, sporting events, and the return of special occasions. We understand that you want to soak up every minute of fun under the sun or under the stars rather than bake too near your oven. We’ve put together our summer favorite meals with minimal effort and maximum flavor.

  1. Move over marinara: top your favorite pasta with Gracious Gourmet’s Lemon Artichoke Pesto - an incredibly smooth and creamy artichoke pesto, bright with lemon and a hint of garlic and parsley.
  2. Caprese is a classic for good reason. Stack, chop, or skewer fresh basil, tomatoes, and mozzarella, drizzled with our Aceto "Riserva" 25 Star Balsamic Vinegar for the ultimate summer staple.
  3. We are always up for breakfast for dinner (or lunch!). Fill your omelets with fresh veggies and our Artichoke Zinfandel Bread Topper or top your scrambled eggs with a sprinkle of Black Truffle Sea Salt.
  4. Just a spoonful of  Mediterranean-style, full-flavored Mama Faith's Simply Spicy Olive Spread makes an amazing difference in pasta sauce, chicken, meat, and seafood dishes.
  5. Skip the boxed dressing and mix our favorite pasta salad blend: 1/3 cup Extra-Virgin Olive Oil, 1 1/2 tablespoons Balsamic Vinegar, and 2 garlic cloves, minced.
  6. Elevate your average avocado toast with Sally's Chile Pesto Guacamole, fresh tomatoes, and Chile Verde Sea Salt.
  7. Less is more when it comes to kabobs. Brush shrimp or chicken kabobs with Serrano Chili Honey White Balsamic Vinegar or Jalapeno Extra Virgin Olive Oil for mouth watering results.
  8. You'll need the oven for this one, but we promise it is worth it! Top a pizza crust or naan with Portobello Mushroom Tapenade and a generous helping of gruyere. Bake at 450 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
  9. Appetizers are the best part of any party, so why not make that your meal? We suggest Fig Jam and Goat Cheese crostinis, homemade hummus, or top pita crackers with a mix of cream cheese and Hot Pepper Raspberry Bacon Jam.
  10. Fire up the grill and add a bit of zest to the menu with Nancy’s Famous Lime Salmon. After one bite of the Persian Lime Extra Virgin Olive Oil's fragrant citrus character, you'll feel like you've been transported to a tropical destination.
  11. Amy's Mediterranean Salad offers the best of both worlds. It’s light, thanks to fresh vegetables, but it contains generous protein portions to keep you full!
  12. The crock pot is our best friend all year round. Throw a package of chicken, a can of chicken stock, Bourbon BBQ Sauce, and a dash of olive oil into the pot, and let it cook all day. Once it reaches fall off the bone status, grab your favorite bread for pulled sandwiches.
  13. Take it easy with a lightened-up chicken salad and a heaping of our Big Easy Cajun Mustard. Serve on crackers, pita, or salad.
  14. Do you always have an abundance of basil? Toss a few handfuls into the food processor along with garlic cloves and olive oil. Serve on top of pasta or cold zoodles.
  15. One-pan-meals are our go-to in our kitchens. One favorite is chicken cut into bite-size pieces and sauteed in Spicy Blend Olive Oil. Next, add black beans, chopped-up avocado, and tomato, giving them just enough time to heat up. Flavor-licious!
  16. Need a dessert in a pinch? Split a pound cake into thirds. Spread our Orange Curd between the layers and reassemble. Slice and serve drizzled with Strawberry Zinfandel Balsamic Glaze over sliced strawberries. Top with whipped cream and voila!
  17. This blend of Mikan Mandarin Balsamic Vinegar, Serrano Chili Honey White Balsamic Vinegar, Toasted Sesame Oil, and green onion, make wings, lettuce wraps, or dumplings shine.
  18. After one taste of Spicers Mill's Sweet Cherry Meat Rub, Sassy Salmon Rub and Seasoning, or Blue Ribbon Pecan Rub, you’ll never look at meat in the same way again. Dry rubs retain meat’s moisture while packing huge flavors without unnecessary calories.
